Upon entry of your statement into the record, a Certificate of Record is issued. The certificate is the formal documentation of the entry.

This certifies that the statement designated FR-[YEAR]-[NUMBER] was entered into the public record on [DATE] at [TIME] UTC.
The statement was received as submitted. No editorial review was conducted. No modification was made. The statement appears in the public record in the form in which it was submitted.
The entry is permanent. The record is public. The statement stands.
Certificates are issued by email upon entry. They are also available for download from your submission confirmation. The certificate is printed on good paper if requested; contact us for physical certificate orders.
The certificate does not confer legal status. It documents that the statement was made, that it was entered into the record, and that it is public. What people do with that knowledge is their own business.
