The Formal Record is a notarial service. We enter statements into the public record. We witness the entry. We timestamp it. We issue a Certificate of Record. No editorial judgment is applied.

The record pairs with Official Registry of Grudges and Moot Point. Those services file complaints and declare disputes moot. The Formal Record does neither. It simply records that something was said, by someone, at a specific time. The significance of that record is up to whoever reads it.
